[Opinions] Eloha and Maysa...
A firend of a friend just welcomed twin girls named Eloha (ee-lo-ah) and Maysa (mah-ee-sah). Not sure about the middle names or the reson they chose the names. I think I could mildly get used to Maysa, but Eloha... just sounds too much like Aloha. What do you think of them? Any ideas for middle names that could work?Lea

Oh, I don't like them at all. Like you said, I think Eloha is far too close to aloha and Maysa is just plain ugly. Also, I would pronounce it like my-sah and not mah-ee-sah. Maïsa would be much better and you would actually know to pronounce the A and the I separately. I would choose more traditional middle names like Eloha Marie, Maysa Isabelle etc.

While I'm not a big fan of either name, they're not that bad. The only thing I don't get is the spelling. With this pronounciation it should be Eloah and Maisah.

I totally agree with you on the spelling. I guess it's just another case of kreativity on the part of the parents ;o).
