Henry and Izzy met in high school. Izzy already knew exactly who he was, but Henry wasn't sure yet. But they grew very close very quickly. After a few months, they began a relationship, and a few weeks after that, Henry came out to his family and friends.
They made it through college, working with a long distance relationship and summer visits. Not long after Izzy graduated, they had a civil union ceremony. They've been discussing the idea of adopting or hiring a surrogate lately-- they both would like to become fathers.
