Probably because I'm rereading Jane Eyre. Charlotte Brontë was pretty cool.

I really want to like Esme, especially given the fact that my oldest dd want to name her dd Esmeralda, nn Esme, one day. Despite that, I just don't love the sound which reminds me 'asthma.' I'd have to go with Charlotte here.
