I love the name, and I like the Ciaran spelling over Kieran, but I don't mind Kieran. I used to think that they were two different names, and that Ciaran was prn see-AR-an lol (I still liked it when I thought that). Now I pronounce it pretty much as Kieran looks - KIER-an.

I like Ciaran, but I also like Kieran. I just prefer the former more because the latter begins to look trendy as it follows the K inserted into names trend (even though I realize it is not a made-up name). Besides that, I think Ciaran Isaac just looks more aesthetically pleasing than Kieran Isaac.

Oh, and I pronounce both Kier-in (Kier as in Beer, and in as in, well, in).

I pronounce it KEER-an and adore Ciarán. It looks all nice and clean whereas Kieran looks just messy and thrown together.

I pronounce it Keer-in. Both spellings are fine, but I really like Kieran.

I prefer Ciarán. It's pronounced 'KEER-an'.

I pronounce both KEE-ran; both are very popular where I live. I prefer Ciaran (today!) but I like either spelling and also Kieron.

I pronounce Kieran KEER-in, and Ciaran KEER-on. Kieran is nice, but I have loved Ciaran for a long time. I'm not a huge fan of Isaac, but Ciaran Isaac would be a nice enough name.

I pronounce the name KEER-en. I prefer the spelling Kieran. Isaac is a great middle name.

If you put an accent on the second a in Ciaran - Ciarán - it becomes Keer-aun. There is a very subtle difference between Kieran and Ciarán. I spell it Ciaran always. It's my husband's name.
