[Opinions] Ilya!
in reply to a message by Lea M
I've been in love with Ilya since I was little. I don't know where I first heard it, but it's lived in my heart as long as I can remember. Alexei and Svyatoslav make me smile. Volodya is gorgeous, but I've never cared for Vladimir so I hesitate to list it.You've forgotten some of my favorites: Maksim, Nikita (m), Anatole / Anatoliy / Tolya, Yevgeniy / Zhenya, Ilarion, Arcady, Konstantin / Kostya, Evdokia / Eudoxia, Vasilia, Natalia / Natasha, Irina.I can't find it in the database or my baby name book. But many of the 18th century Russian novel I read back in the day had a character named Ippolyte, or something like that. It was the Russian form of Hippolyte. Can anyone tell me the spelling of the Russian form please? Thanks.
