What do you think of it? It's listed as the Polish and Slovak form of Esther. Do you have any mn ideas?

Aw.

I had a professor named Esther once. Her parents were Russian Jews and wanted to call her Esthera / Estera ("es-TEHR-uh"). She didn't like the way Esther sounded in English and wished she could have gone by Estera. She was so good to me. Now I'm feeling guilty for not keeping up with her.

Anyway. Estera is gorgeous. Mns:

I think I'd just consider it as a silly romanticization of Esther. I prefer Esther.

I like it. I tend to like names that start with Es. They seem soft and femenine to me.
