What are your thoughts on Winifred nn Winnie? I'm really in love with it at the moment, but I've had my "OMFG-Beulah-is-so-beautiful-I-must-use-it" moments as well.

this is my mom's name. she's never liked it and goes by her middle name. it's not really a name that sounds nice through the years.

It's nice. I prefer "Fred" as a nickname though, I think it'd be so cute on a girl.

Winifred is so evocative of Anglo-Sxon England. I love names that transport me back in time and Winifred does that in spades. Nn Winnie is so cute.
A sibling set of Winifred, Martina, Jacqueline and Vivien would keep their parents on their toes quite a bit. :-) Lovely.
Winifred Alice / Alix is my favorite combination. But Hebrew mns could include:

P.S. While Beulah has yet to take up residence in my heart, I adore Eula so I can completely understand wanting to use Beulah. But I'm weird that way.

Lol, I was *just* thinking about Winifred. It's one of Cecilys mns, and normally I try to avoiding putting one of my kids names on my absolute favourites list, but Winifred is pretty high on that list.
There's something about the balance of the Win- (which I find light hearted and whimsical) and the -fred (which is slightly heavy and a wee bit dorky) that really apeals to me. Winnie makes me happy.
Jacqueline seems a bit out of place within that sibset, but all in all I think it would work fine.
Winifred Shoshana? Winifred Liora? I'm failing at mns today!

I actually quite like Winifred; I think the nickname "Fred" or "Freddie" on a little girl would be beyond adorable. Winnie could be super cute as well!
Winifred it very strong and English, so think more recognizable Hebrew names would flow a little better with it, maybe Winifred Deborah, Winifred Judith, Winifred Susannah, Winifred Miriam, Winifred Rachel, Winifred Ruth.
I fear that a little Winifred would feel a little frumpy next to her more exotically names sisters, however...
