[Opinions] Constance
I really like it -- I love the meaning of being constant (as in having faith or being steadfast) and I think it would be a strong and fantastic name to have. I like how it sounds when it's spoken out loud too, but I don't know if I would consider it to be an "old-lady" name too much. What do you think?

I like it, doubt it is old lady, and think it is beautiful. I prefer it as a mn though because I dislike the nn Connie.
I love Constance; it seems like a strong and purposeful name, yes, but Constance also sounds to me peaceful, sweet, gentle. It's gorgeous. I don't think it's too dated, either.
Yes thank you =) I really like how you described it.
Ooops I just typed out a response and my internet cut out and it didn't post.
I love Constance-- It was my great-grandmother's name. Her combo was Constance Margaret. Some other Constance combos I like are: Constance Jessica, Constance Alberta, Constance Dove and Constance Diana.
I would not worry about it seeming "Old-lady", I do not believe that datedness should affect the quality of a name (and Constance is a good one!).
If you don't like Connie, may I suggest Nancy or Tansy as NNs?

Oooo I do like Tansy very much! And yeah I don't think it's really dated just that it seems like an older name. But anyways I still really like it and thanks for your suggestions =)
I love the name Constance. It's a still-waters-run-deep kind of name. Very refreshing. Being an "old-lady" name is a plus in my old-lady books. :-) The only down side to the name is that I just don't care for the nn Connie.
The variant Constanza, with the nn Stanzi, interests me as well. Do you like Constanza?

Yeah I'm not fond of Connie either. Hahah I like how you described it as "still-waters-run-deep."
I'm not sure about Constanza... I do like the nickname Stanzi a LOT but I think I'd like the effect of Constance more than Constanza... I think Constanza reminds me of names like Natalia that seem sort of over dressed? Hahah I really don't know. It also reminds me of stanzas for writing poetry. Hm... Any other ideas?

I recently added this name to my pnl. I think it has a good meaning, it can work today and is not too old and has some cute nns.
