Help[Opinions] Twins on Baby baby and my cousins nn
Alexander James and Flynn Charles.
Usually I'm not a fan of Flynn, but paired with a tradional name like Charles it doesn't seem as bad. Alex and Flynn sound cute together, IMO.
Also, my new cousin Anne Louise has started being called Nan! Nan! She has older sisters Mary and Ella. I dislike Nan, and prefer she was just called Anne Louise as planned.

Anne Louise
is a lovely name, but they probably want a nn and something shorter. Nan is ok though I like Nancy better (it is easier to shout).
I like Alexander James but not Flynn Charles. Flynn Charles sounds choppy. And if one twin gets a nn (Alex) the other one should have one too. But how do you nn Flynn? Charles as fn would have been better, then they could have been Alex and Charlie.

Alexander James is a nice combination. I dislike Flynn. Finn Charles would have been better.
Oooh - Anne Louise is a terrific combination. I love the nn Nan. It is very historic / nostalgic sounding. For example, Anne Boleyn went by Nan. I think it's fresh and appealing. It goes well with Mary and Ella. Great trio.

I love Nan, but don't like Alexander and Flynn.

I love Nan like no other. I'd use it (well, Anne with the nn Nan) for a child, but it's my pirate name--the full thing is Calico Nan. :) I think it's adorable, and it reminds me of Naughty Nan in Little Men, who was a cool character.
Alexander James and Flynn Charles bore me to tears, though I do like James all right as a name. Charles makes me cringe, Flynn is too Chicago, and as far as I'm concerned, the world doesn't need another Alexander. ;)
