[Opinions] Re: Amy

I'm an Amy, and in my childhood/adolescence I thought it was too plain. I've kind of gotten over that, but I still don't particularly care for the fact that it is so simple and so 70/80s-trendy (so, kind of dated now).
I went through a period where I wanted my name to be spelled Aimee-- to make it stand out a little more or look more interesting. I guess I would suggest that, or else use Amy as a nickname for Amelia, as another poster wrote.
I always did like the meaning of the name, though.
Some ideas:
Aimee Katharine
Aimee Elizabeth
Aimee Jane
Amelia Faith
Amelia Grace
Good luck!
