[Opinions] Lindsay
I am really liking Lindsay for a boy right now. What do you think? Is that the best spelling?

Well, it's my two year old daughter's name so I vastly prefer it for a girl. I realize that it is originally a male name but I just don't hear anything masculine in it. I suppose in Britain it could work but in the U.S. Lindsay is 99% female. I adore it-it's my favorite GIRL name! :)

I'm not fond of Lindsay for either gender. I would never consider it for a boy. It has too many feminine ties for me to see it work for a boy. Lea

Lindsay (this spelling) is a major GP of mine for a boy only. I hate it on girls, but would never use it as a first name for a boy. Maybe as a middle name.

Me, too. It's so ugly. I do prefer the -ay spelling over the -ey one, though.

I knew a boy named Lindsey growing up. I believe Lindsay is the more feminine spelling (EX: Lindsay Lohan), but it could work for a boy. I think its all right; kind of different and fresh. Some might call it girly, though.
