[Opinions] Diana
Diana is kind of cute. It seems really popular on this board which makes it seem trendy but I never see baby girls with this name. Is it really making a comeback "as it seems" anyway?

My mother's name is Diana, and it is my MN, so I have always be hyper-aware of it's popularity. The youngest Diana I know is my age, 18, the rest are over 40. Not that there are many, Diane seems to be much more popular with my mother's generation but less with mine since I know two girls named Diana in my generation and only one Diane (she is 15). I have yet to meet a baby Diana though. I don't think it is making a comeback at all really.

I love Diana; it hovers right around my top 5. I only know one Diana, and she's 17 or 18. I don't really think it's making a comeback, it's been hovering around the bottom of the top 100 for a while now. It seems like it's kind of quietly popular.

Yea. Its like one of those names like Caroline or Daphne that are quietly popular, but never you see real baby girls with those names.

I don't think it's necessarily making a comeback. To me, it seems like one of those names that people like a lot if brought up, but don't think of using because they like other names more.I like it well enough. I liked the combo Diana Hero for the longest time. It didn't make my shortlist, but there was something harmonic about the way the names sounded and looked together. Diana is a very dramatic, pretty name; I am surprised that it's not more popular in real life.

I quite like Diana. She's more popular then I thought she'd be(107 last year)I don't know anyone named Diana. I don't think she'll become trendy.
