I love it, it's such a GP for me. I'm not seeing any NN's... I think it could work well on its own on the right kid.

I'm pretty sure I'd try not to use a NN for it. I think it's an attractive name on it's own.

Regulus is a major GP of mine. I like the star relation but not the Harry Potter relation. While it's not as obvious as something like Hermione, it would probably still be associated with it. I honestly can't think of any other nickname than those. I quite like Reg.

I like Regulus but would prefer it as a mn. The only other nn I could think of would be Gus? Or maybe even (its a stretch) Russ.
