[Opinions] Re: Sally
in reply to a message by Stevie
1.) It's cute!
2.) I stick with other names that are a little old-fashioned but under-rated.
3.) I think it might have to be a nickname. not sure for what though. Just not sure it's strong enough to stand on its own.
4.) I like it with Sparrow really....
5.) Yes, but why not drag it out of that category? It needs to get OUT!
6.) Sweet and well-meaning. I can't help but think of Sally from Nightmare before Christmas.

Thanks, and I agree it does need to be dragged out of that category.. I like the names that everyone knows yet are not used often. That's why I like it so much.
I like it with Sparrow too but I think that fans of Doctor Who would get the reference right away... Not a bad idea, but this isn't for an actual kid.
I'm with you with the whole not being sure if it can stand on it's own... I'd like to find a full name for it, that isn't Sara(h), but I'm not to fond of Salena or Salacia - which are the only alternatives I've found so far.
Thanks again! =D
