I love it. I used to kind of like it, and then I re-read the book by Roald Dahl and fell in love with it. I keep it as a mn for Claire, because I don't like any of the nns that would come from Matilda.
I think it's quite popular in Australia (and has been for a long time) mainly because of the song 'Waltzing Matilda'. Then Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams used it (probably partly because of it's Australian popularity) and now it's catching on a little in the US as a result.
Maybe.
I don't know what siblings I'd put with it. Probably just my usual set of names: Claire, Nathaniel, Sarah, Violet. Classic-ish names.
