Help[Opinions] Pita
I met a little girl named Pita (PEE-ta) today. She was about 8 years old. What do you think of it? Oh and did you ever meet someone with the name? I've never heard of it before and can't find information on it. Do you happen to know where it comes from? Or what it means? It sounds a lot like a Spanish name, but I'm not quite sure.

I have no ideas about the origin but this is my friend Sarah's mum's name. Her mother is about 50 and was born in raised in England so I had always assumed it to be British. Anyway, I absolutely love the name and find it very cute and perky.

I know a little girl named Lupita. She's Mexican, so I'm guesing Pita could be Spanish as well. I think it's cute.

I know several male Pitas (PEE-tuh). You might like to have a look at Peta (which is in the database), as I imagine it would be related.

Seeing it reminded me that there is a woman with this name in the supermarket where I shop most of the time. She could be Indian (I mean Eastern Indian, from the Country India)
