Thank you! I never knew that Nikita was a boys name! I always thought it was what the eldest girl in the sound of music was named- the eldest girl of the captain's!

Thank you for your response! It was definitely enlightening and not at all underappreciated!

P.s. Is Nikita the nickname for Nikolai or is that Niko!?

Nikita isn't a NN for anything - It's the Russian form of Anicetus.

The eldest in the movie was Liesl, perhaps you were thinking of the younger, Brigitta?
