WDYT of Sabre & Severin for boys?I really like Sabre a lot. WDYT of Sabre Milan?ETA: also Severn for a boy.

I don't like Sabre that much, but I LOVE Milan on a boy (but as long as you're pronouncing it the Serbian way - are you?). Severin has been a GP for the past two years.

Sabre just reminds me of "saber" as in a sword. Severin's ok, though not my style.

I LOVE Sabre...Where did you find that name? I've never heard it before and I just LOVE it! Its fits in with my style of boy names. I love them strong but soft sounding.Do you think it could also be spelt Saber?Also do you think it fits in this sibset....Noah, Thea & Sabre

Yes, Sabre could be spelled Saber. I prefer Sabre personally. I fond it on another website.the sibset is nice.

I love...Wow! I like these a lot!! Sabre especially is a cool name I haven't heard before, and the names make an excellent sibset.

I like both of them. My friend has a guy friend named Sabre (pronounced like say-bur) but whenever I see the name I always pronounce it say-bruh because of the girl from So You Think You Can Dance. I can see it on either a boy or girl. I like Severin because it reminds me of Severus Snape from HP and I love him! :) I would actually use Severin. Severn, on the other hand, I don't like.

I dislike Sabre, but I absolutely love Severin. I know a German guy named Severin Elias. Sabre is a bit too violent to me. I am not so fond of Severn either. I like Milan.

Very violent....(m)Sabre just conjures up images of swords and the old ritual of falling on one's sword (the exact term is leaving me right now). Severin just makes me think of "Severin' heads." So yah, lots of violence involved with those names.

If it's Japanese ritual suicide you're thinking about, it's called seppuku or hara-kiri. If it's the Roman one, where people did throw themselves on their swords (like Anthony at the end of Anthony and Cleopatra), then I'm not sure if there's a specific name.

Well...... the only time I've ever seen Sabre used IRL, is on a girl friend of mine, but it's pronounced SAY-bruh. And it has an accent on the E.So when I see Sabre, it looks like a feminine name to me. I can see it more on a guy with the SAY-burr pronunciation, though.Severin looks too much like Severus Snape... from Harry Potter, you know? :/

Yeah thats what I was thinking. I've only known the one girl with the name, though, so when I see it, I think of her. If I hadn't met her, etc. I might be more prone to say it was masculine though.it's a unique name either way. :)

Severin does nothing for me, I'm afraid. Sorry. But Sabre (or as I prefer it, Saber) has been my major crush for months. I'm completely in love with him! =DSabre Milan is okay. For myself, I like Saber Blake or Saber Dane. Saber Kai. Saber Keane. Something short and sharp with a long vowel.
