Help[Opinions] Help! Names for twin boys!
I'm due to give birth to twin boys ANY day now & the husband & I STILL can't agree on names! Our very favorite name right now is Darren (pretty sure this WILL be one of the boy's names), but we can't agree on anything that sounds like a good sibset match for baby #2! Also, most people we've mentioned the name to just wrinkle their noses in distaste. Is it really all that bad?
Another favorite name right now is Timothy. Do Timothy & Darren sound OK as twin names? I think so, but the Husband doesn't think they fit.
Another name on our list is Wesley, but I REALLY don't think it sounds right with Darren. WDYT?
I also really love the name Nathan, but does the ending N sound of both Nathan and Darren seem too matchy for twins?
Based on the names I've listed so far, can any of y'all think of other names we might like (preferably that would sound good as a brother to Darren)? Both boys will have the middle name of Clifford (family tradition) if that helps come up with ideas at all.

Awww i think Darren and Timothy are really cute together, they aren't matchy matchy but i see that as a good thing and they do fit
I think Darren and Wesley don't really go and I don't like the similar ending in Nathan & Darren
Btw although Darren isn't really my style it's a nice name and i wouldn't worry as long as you and DH love it

I think Darren and Wesley sound best as brothers, compared to Timothy and Nathan. I like the name Wesley best of the three also.
Some other suggestions...
Angus, an older name like how I picture Darren, but I think it's coming back.
Russell - similar sounding to Wesley.
Elijah - the names aren't all that similar but for some reason I think they sound well together.
Niles - maybe a little too "Seinfeld" but they sound good together I think.

I think Darren and Timothy sounds great! Both are relatively uncommon, and they're not matchy, but they sound nice as brothers.
I also think Nathan and Darren sounds good, too, and I don't think the ending makes them matchy at all. But, if you want the endings to be different you could always name him Nathaniel and call him Nathan.

As a twin, I don't think Nathan and Darren are very cutesy twin-ish, and I'm really sensitive to that stuff. You could always make it Nathanael or Nathaniel if you don't like the n thing though. My second favorite of those would be Darren and Wesley.

I love Darren and Timothy for twins! My vote goes to those. I think Wesley sounds okay too actually. Nathan just doesn't sound right with Darren to me, though there's nothing wrong with the name and I don't think the endings make them matchy at all. I think Wesley sounds best with Clifford of the three choices you gave.

I love the name Darren! Out of all your options I like Nathan & Darren the best. Darren & Wesley is nice too.
