Cojocaru obviosly is a Romanian name. Its origin, however, is Slavic (Bulgarian) where "kozhukhar" means "fur-dresser" or "furrier" and "kozhukh" means a winter coat. I doubt if "cojocaru" means simply a "coat" in Romanian.
The corresponding Bulgarian (Slavic) family name is "Kozhukharov".
