I don't care for it, not because of the trix part, but because of the done-to-death "Bella" part of it.

I really can't decide. I love this name to pieces but I'm just not sure whether it's usable. I'm leaning more towards yes, lately though. I can't really find a good enough reason for why it shouldn't be.
My prime association with the name is Bellatrix LeStrange from the Harry Potter books, so to me, a Bellatrix would look like her, dark hair, dark eyes, etc. Weirdly, the fact that I associate it with a mentally unbalanced murderer doesn't put me off the name! Lol.

Any names with "trix" generally sound overly sweet to me. I think she's be blond hair, blue eyes, fair skin type look. I can imagine it on a real person, absolutely.

I believe it is usable on a person. I really love this name so much. It reminds me of a dark beauty; black hair, green eyes, and very gorgeous and seductive against the night sky. Combos... hmm... (I prefer two middle names.. if that wasn't what you were looking for, I'm sorry)

Sorry, but Bellatrix will always be Lestrange to me. I can't shake the Harry Potter association, it's way too strong.

Honestly, I think it sounds like the name of a well-known dominatrix. That's the first image that pops into my head. I don't think it would work for a real person; you're better off using Belle, or Beatrix.
