What would you think of naming a boy (not a girl, God forbid) Robinson?

Meh. Reminds me too much of Robinson Crusoe.

Quite like it...it sounds strong and has a quirky sort of ring to it.

Reminds me of Swiss family Robinson. Or Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood.

I prefer Robin, but this would be a cute name for a man named Robert to name his son (Robert's son-Robin's son)

When I see the name Robinson I automatically start to sing Mrs Robinson (Coo coo ca-choo, Mrs. Robinson. Jesus loves you more than you will know) Anyway, it's not a bad name but it's very much a surname to me. Also, I think Robin is adorable for a boy and I would rather see Robin than Robinson. I ahve to admit though, that Robinson is more masculine than Robin but with the great alternative of actually calling him Robin. I just think it's too trendy right now and I'm sure there will be girls named Robinson if it becomes popular. (Robynson maybe or Robynsyn...)
