[Opinions] Annie

I personally think it can be a full name and it does age well imo.
I think it could maybe work, but why would you when there are so many gorgeous full name options? Then you'd get the lovely full name, with the adorable nickname, two names for the price of one!

I prefer it as a nn for Anneliese.
I feel differently about Annie than you since I can't see it on someone of any age. To me, Annie is either a little girl or an old woman but seems to have no middle age. Because of this, I much prefer Annie as a nickname to one of the many longer Ann- variations.
If Annie is used as a full name, the best sib names I can think of are Gracie and Jack.

It can definitely work as a full first name, and I wish it had been my name. I enjoyed being called it in one of my classes last year, by people who had no idea my name was Anna. I think it's cute but ages reasonably well, and sounds well enough with the title Dr. in fromt of it. I think Patrick would make a good brother and Rebecca "Becca" would make a good sister.
