Victoria is only one of the most beautiful, flowing names out there. And mind you, as the mother of a dd named Victoria, I'm not biased one bit. ;-)I don't see Victoria as stuck up at all. I don't picture a frumpy, aging queen who never smiles. I think of Victoria, the Roman goddess of victory. It's definitely classic and mature to me yet it has a light feeling at the same time.Of the four names you listed, I only really care for Madeleine. Your names are also classics and there's certainly nothing wrong with them. Still, I'm a sucker for a feminine name that ends in a or na or ra, or sa, etc. You get the idea ... . I just always gravitate to those.

I've never liked Victoria, but I wouldn't call it stuck-up...just cold and almost devoid of personality. It's definitely classic and mature, though. Compared with Christine, Hannah, Emmeline, and Madeleine, Victoria and Hannah are tied for my least favorite.

Normally not an "upper fav" but I do prefer it to all of the other names you listed.

I think Victoria is beautiful. But I'd never use it because I absolutely hate the nn's Vicky and Tori (including all spellings). I don't much like Vic either. I'm not sure I would put it in the same category as Christine (which I find a little dated), or Emmeline and Madeleine (which are much more popular). I do think of it along the same lines as Hannah, although I would be more inclined to use Hannah.

I like Victoria a lot. It is a big name with a lot of clout. I think it is classic and mature but it isn't too much name for a little girl either because it has some cute nn options. I think it is elegant, classy and strong and would sound great with Emmeline or Madeleine.

I love it! It's definitely classic and mature, and I'd say dignified rather than "stuck-up". It's a little cold but still regal and beautiful! Christine, Hannah and Madeleine don't come close, they're far too dull, though Victoria and Emmeline would make lovely sisters.

Victoria is the most perfect name there is. Beautiful looking, beautiful sounding, great meaning, great connotation, historical significance, ancient. It's wonderful.Classic? Yes. Mature? Yes. Also elegant and refined.I don't have much respect for anyone who would think it's stuck up. Way better than Christine, way way better than Hannah and Madeleine (both of which I'm not at all fond of), better than Emmeline. It's what I named my daughter.

I think it's kind of pretty. I wouldn't say it's stuck-up, but it is regal. I think it's a little more sophisticated than Christine and Hannah, but it could work for a sister of Emmeline or Madeleine.

Personally, I think it's kind of stuffy. And I never cared for the NN's (Vicky, Tori, etc.)Hannah and Madeleine are nice, though.
