I actually think it's ok. I wouldn't use it, but it beats Remington, which is nasty and which I heard on a girl not so long back. I'd rank it about the same as Emerson, which is usuable and not horrible, but nms.
I think the honouring idea is really cool, though! Very original! And remember that what's preppy now won't necessarily be preppy in say, five years time, so then it will probably become still more usable.

Aw, I adore Remington for a boy. I don't think it's nasty at all. I think it's very sophisticated, maybe because I associate it with the Remigton Steele tv-series. Ooh, and I love the potential nickname Rémy.
