[Opinions] Nancy and Ronald
What are your opinions of the names Nancy (nn Nan) and Ronald (nn Ron)? Would they be too cheesy as a sibset? Any middle name suggestions?

I think they'd be ultra-cheesy as a sibset, but I'd dislike any sibset made up of names "coupled" together in pop culture or history. IMO, sets like Ronald and Nancy, Bill and Hillary, Adam and Eve, Han and Leia, and so on are a bad idea.Individually, both names are okay. I prefer Nancy over Ronald.

They'd be definitely cheesy as a sibset, and I'd assume the parents were rabid Reagan admirers.I'm not crazy on the names indipendently from the associations. Nancy is dated and dowdy, and I really dislike Ronald since I dislike most names starting with Ron

The Reagans come to mind. Nan and Ron are really cute nick names and sound lovely together though.

Ronald is kind of cute. I dislike Nancy. Way too nickname-ish.

ReaganThat's what I think of when I hear them together. Individually I really don't like either of them at all.

I like Nancy without the nn Nan and I like Ron but not Ronald. I think of Ronald and Nancy Reagan when I hear it which for me is a good thing, but I don't know how you feel about it. That would probably stop me from using it as a sibset.Nancy Elspeth

That's exactly why I asked; I adore Ronald and Nancy Reagan and I think they'd be fantastic namesakes, but I was worried about the cheese factor. Thanks for the combos! I really like Nancy Rebecca, Nancy Moriah, Nancy Mireille, Nancy Giovanna, Nancy Autumn, and Nancy Hadassah. From the Ronald list, I really like Ronald Bennett, Ronald Morgan, and Ronald Westley (I'd probably use Wesley).
