I go by my nickname, Lola 99% of the time. When in professional situations, I use Lola too, but then, I'm an artist (former graphic designer who finally got her degree in Interior design). I use my full name (Laura) when I'm dealing with people other than in business. The school, for example, or the scouts, stuff like that. But even then, the individuals I know well, call me Lola. Anything else sounds kind of odd to me anymore. I've been Lola for 37 years.
