Jasmine is really beautiful. I've gotten over its trendiness and Aladdin associations and have added it to my PNL.

I know heaps of girls with the name and all but one spell it Jasmin. I prefer Yasmine. It's quite nice but way overused. I have good associations with it, though. Jasmine makes me think of Aladdin.

Jasmine is considered trashy where I come from. It IS lovely, but I think it would work better as a MN.

I didn't start liking my name until recently...one day, my friend was mad and kept saying my full name at the end of every sentence and I thought to myself, "Wow. I have a really pretty name." LOL! So I like it and I don't mind alternative spellings. I'd probably use it as a mn for a future daughter.

It's really pretty, though personally I prefer Yasmina or Yasmin.

Amity Jasmine
Thora Jasmine

Amelie Jasmine
Frida Jasmine
Mercy Jasminealthough I like the idea of Jasmine Harlow for you, or Jasmine Mariangela. Like any?

What about "Yasemin" ? It's turkish. There are about 4 Yasemin's in my family.I think it is a very popular name in Turkey and in arabian countries.

I don't like it as a name, and i don't like it as a flower. The scent, makes me nauseous. Maybe, that's why i'm turned off by it?
