I wonder if her parents chose it so people could say "Everybody loves Raymond!" Ok, maybe not, but that's what it makes me think of.

Blech, it just makes me want to gag. Raymond is perfectly fine on a boy but on a girl it's awful IMHO. Apparently it's made it on the pop charts for girls before though (http://www.behindthename.com/top/search.php?terms=raymond). Still doesn't make it any better.
