Message: "Daria" - Behind the Name

I'm really liking Daria at the moment. I used to mentor a little girl named this. The only other Daria I can think of is the cartoon "Daria" and that's a good association for me! Anyways, I really like the meaning and sound, as well as its being uncommon.

WDYT of the name? Is it useable? Any sibset ideas?

I too love this name, and it was a very real possibility with me until I realised the name's similarity to a certain medical condition!
So it's Dalia or Dara instead!

I love Daria. I definitely think it's usable, though she could get a bit of diarrhea teasing in grade school. But it's a lovely, underused name and I love the nickname Dasha.

I never made the connection to that possible teasing name... wow, I usually pick up on stuff like that! And Dasha is adorable, too.
