There is a at my school named Mycaela, and you pronounce it like Mikayla/ Makayla/ Mikaela. I don't like Michaela AT ALL. But Mycaela is horrible to me. What do you think of her name?
Oh, and I'm pretty sure her middle name is Grace...

My dd is Michaela, i can't stand the variations, this one is especially awful but it looks like it should be pronounced with a long i sound, MY Kayla

I'm not a huge fan of Michaela, but I don't like the trendy variants either. Micaela would have been much nicer.

Michaela when spelt properly, is a very beautiful name. Why ruin such a beautiful name, with hideous spellings?Michaela Grace, is beautiful?

Thoroughly revoulting. I don't mind some of the Michaela misspellings, but Mycaela is gross. It makes me think of some sort of fungal infection, or some other medical term. Definitely not a fan.

I prefer things spelled correctly.Michaela.Even then, I don't love it especially. I loath Kayla.

Enough with butchering a beautifully spelled name like Michaela! That really bothers me. My dad is named Michael, so I've often thought of Michaela as a MN should I ever have a daughter, but these horrible spellings are practically ruining the name for me. Well, not entirely-I'd probably STILL use it. But they ARE awful, aren't they?

It's not very attractive, it's very kr8tiv-looking and makes me think of mycosis. Another spelling would have been preferable.

Yikes, that's bad.I like Michaela, but I can't stand any of the butchered misspellings that are more popular than the proper way to spell it.

It's not the worst spelling I've seen but it's still pretty ugly. It looks like it should be MY-kay-la

On American Idol last night there was some weird lady field reporting in the town where Kris was from, and her name was spelled Mikalah or something like that. And she said her name and pronounced it like Michaela. How the heck is Mikalah pronounced like Michaela? That might be the worst spelling I've ever seen of it.

It's official Michaela is the worst name for unique spellings. It seems like there's 100 different ways to spell it and most are pretty horrible. I personally only like Michaela and Micaela (my friend's name prn. the Spanish way).
