I really like it (I knew a guy named Ace, he played the drums at a school near mine and was pretty cool) but it takes the right guy to pull it off without seeming snobby or pretentious as some other people have mentioned.I think it needs something a bit more grounded and solid for a middle name.Ace Alexander
Ace Arthur
Ace Benjamin
Ace Charles
Ace Daniel
Ace Edward
Ace Everett
Ace Frederick
Ace Henry
Ace James
Ace Laurence
Ace Louis
Ace Morgan
Ace Patrick
Ace Robert
Ace Samuel
Ace Theodore

I'm surprised it's not more popular. I love Asa. Ace Lewis would be awesome.

I think Ace sounds very preppy and very obnoxious. Like the kind of guy in high school who wouldn't look at you twice if you weren't blond, skinny, and rich. I really don't like it.

I don't think of it as a real name. Maybe a nickname for somebody who's very good at something, like Ace, a really good baseball player. But I think it's lame as a full name. Kind of pretentious and lazy at the same time.

It's more of a nn for me, but it doesn't have to sound like the name, like Ace could be for someone actually named George Nathan. It sounds more like a friendly term. That said, if you really liked it, it could be their fn. It's short, so I would pair it with a longer MN, like:
Ace Matthew
Ace Gregory
Ace Edward
Ace Francis
Ace NathanielAck, it's a really hard name to pair!
