Leo and I met 5 years ago at a Starbucks when our drinks got mixed up. He got mine and I got his, when we realized the mistake quickly after, we exchanged drinks and decided to chat. We ended up talking for an hour when he had to leave. He said he was an EMT and revealed his love of cult movies. I was smitten. I gave him my number, he called two days later and we had our first official date.
We got married two years after meeting, in a medium sized wedding. We now live in our own house in Vermont. It was difficult at first because both of our families are back in California but it's where we wanted to move and it gave us both better career opportunities. Leo is still works as an EMT and I was finally able to set up my antique shop.
