Eh, I have a 20 year old brother with the name, I'm not on great terms with him though.
He's not a jock though, probably the exact opposite of one. As for being trendy,
Brendan to me is much more than
Brandon though none of them seem trendy to me. They've both been around for awhile guys. If I was to name my kid one of the two without having a brother named
Brandon, I'd probably pick
Brendan because I like softer sounding names (i.e.
Soren,
Gabriel,
Vincent,
Rafael, etc). However I don't have a problem with the name
Brandon. I'm glad you're not spelling it Brandan like I've seen once or twice.
