WDYTO Pollyanna for a girl? I am starting to really like it. Is it usable? Any middle name suggestions?
Thank you.

I don't like it that much. It sounds too old-fashioned.

I don't think it's usable. It's too cheesy.
I don't think it's usable (at least where I live in Western Canada). It just seems too southern and character-like, if that makes any sense! I would think it was strange to meet a little Pollyanna.
I don't find it useable. It's just so connected to the book for me... I much prefer just plain Polly.
I'd hate for her to turn out to be the antithesis of Pollyanna but those are the "risks" you take with certain names I guess ;)
Not for me. Loads of appeal though but there's also this: "A person regarded as being foolishly or blindly optimistic". Just from one of many online dictionaries. While I never hear it used in this context, it does annoy me.
I'd go with someone a bit less flighty as a middle name. Frances?
