I'm loving the name Rossie for a girl right now. I think that Ross is strictly masculine, but Rossie sounds feminine. What are your opinions on it? What image does it give you? Any good combos?

Its ok as a nn for Rosalind or something like that, but its too cutsy and a tad bit masculine as an independent name. Can't say that I am a huge fan.

It just looks like a typo for Rosie, IMO. If I met someone actually named Rossie, I think I'd assume her last name was Ross and Rossie was a nickname.

I'd pair it with classic middle names... for some reason I think of 1950s... something like Rossie Kay.

It could work as a nickname for a Rose- name, but I wouldn't use it as a full name. Also, it will probably get confused with Rosie or Roxie a lot.

Sorry, I'm not a fan. It reminds me of what a boy named Ross might be called as his fusses over him.

I've never heard it before but I think it's very cute. I might at first think it would be a pet name for Rosalind but I like it on its own too.
