What do you think of the name Wayne? I really love this boy name!

Wayne was my late Pop's name. I think it's got a bit of pizzaz but he loathed it, so it's off limits for me. I alos have a cousin who married a lovely Wayne, so maybe for my grandkids.

I dislike it, but it's my husband's grandfather's name. We are naming our second son with the middle name of either Wayne or his middle name Eugene. (Probably Eugene, as that is my grandfather's middle name too)

Definitely not. I can only think of a joke involving John Wayne, John Rolfe, and Pocahontas.

I really dislike it.Feels really shabby. I love lots of dated names but not this surname and it was used on so many men over the 1940s and 50s. I also thought John Wayne was a terrible actor with (to poach from Harry Potter) the emotional range of a teaspoon and I blame him for inspiring a lot of use.

Reminds me of a grungy, beer drinking, NASCAR enthusiast, that rocks a mullet from the 80s. Not saying I have anything against NASCAR enthusiasts... just mullets.

I can't see it fitting a little boy, but that's okay cause he would grow into it. My clarinet teacher's name was Wayne so it seems kind of cool and artsy to me really. It's also a really strong name. I'm not personally a fan, but I would LOVE to see it used.

I'm not terribly fond of it. It is by no means bad, however.

I have mixed feelings about it. I like quite a few W names: Wade, Wyatt, Warren, Wesley, William. Because of this, I should like it, but there is a person with this name who is a negative association for me.
