I prefer the nn Eva for Evangeline. If I was going to use Evy, I'd spell it Evie.

I don't like it. I think it sounds like the name of a spoiled brat who goes to prep school and looks down on others. I don't know, that's just the impression I get from it.

I don't like Evy, either. If I had to go with an Ev- name, I'd go with Evelyn.

I love Evangeline, but I hate the nn Evy. I'd just call a girl named Evangeline by her full name.

It's nice, but the relation to the word "evangelical" isn't appealing to me. I love the nn Evy, although I prefer the spelling Evie.
