It is no worse than Honor...and I really like Honor. The more I think about it, the more I like Honesty. It has a pleasant sound, I love the meaning and I think Honny or Ness or Nessa would be cute nicknames. I would never personally use it as a fn (it is going on my GP list though) but I think it would make an interesting mn.
