I was looking through my BNW and was reminded that Ava is given as a likely sister to Avery. Why do you think? To me, their styles are completely different. Maybe the "Av?"

Ava and Avery are too matchy for sisters, and Ava's done to death anyway.

I personally that Ava and Avery are a little too similar to be siblings. Probably the "av," but I would probably not name my kids names that are so similar.

I agree that their styles are completely different. And they would get confused simce they sound practically the same. I like Ava, but not Avery. To me, Avery seems too feminine for a boy but too masculine for a girl- and I usually see it as more surnamey anyway.

I prefer Ava to Avery. Avery sounds like a boys' name to me.

I really like it despite the popularity. It's pretty, it's simple, it's a palindrome...just a cool name. And versatile; an Ava can be beautiful, intelligent, sophisticated, spunky, or whatever.

I can't believe that. Those names are going to get confused ALL. THE. TIME. They have completely different styles, but they sound a lot a like.
