Seven years have passed. The twins have grown up, and Iphigenia remains alive, if a bit small and sickly. Her family and the royal doctors are now optimistic about her survival, but still watch her carefully and worry over her every sneeze.
The kingdom was surprised to hear that Queen Kalliope was pregnant again after all this time, and happily received what is to be the last child in the family: a girl named Pelagia. At this point, Maximilian and Kalliope will simply wait for grandchildren.
Shortly after this, the royal household started planning Augusta’s wedding. Her fiancé is Maxence of Lyricene, a prince three years her senior to whom she has been betrothed since the age of thirteen.
