[Opinions] WDYT of Devlin?
I kind of like this for a boy-it was my great aunt from Ireland's last name and she was so wonderful so I would love to honor her. But I know that sometimes when you look at the name it kind of looks like 'devil'-LOL. Too bad! I really do like it. What do you think of it?

Devlin does look like devil, and it looks made up to me even if it isn't...

It might get confused with Devin.

It's nice but I can't get over the devil thing. If the devil thing doesn't bother you than go for it. But it also reminds me of Devon / Devin and I love that name. ♥ Kristen ♥~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I like Devlin - for a boy. It doesn't make me think of devil.

Actually, it could grow on me. I can see it on an Irish man, about 30 years old, devilish good lucks (of course!) who's very charming but hiding his darker side. :b I would have a problem using it on a real child, but perhaps as a mn if it had some special significance to me. But I actually like it a little better than Damien or Damon (which have a similar "evil" feel imo). LOL.

Devlin is nms... however I agree with MariaNikolaievnaRomanova that Devin is a suitable alternative!"Never make someone a priority, who only makes you an option."

I think it's wonderful that you'd like to honour your great-aunt! How lucky for her ot have a namesake. :) However, when I see or hear Devlin, I automatically think "devilin'". I think Devin would be a viable alternative.____
