It's been a year and Milena (we call her Mila) is doing wonderfully. She loves music, going on walks, and being read to. Elena adores Mila and enjoys showing her how to do new things and helping her make friends. Mila luckly has not shown any signs of asthma, though she does wheeze a little when she gets a cold. Grigori Isidor and Pasha Maksim are nine year old identical twins from Russia. They both have panic disorder and frequently suffer panic attacks. Pasha also shows signs of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The boys saw their stepfather kill their mother one year ago. Grigori loves to play outdoors and is very outgoing. He really wants to learn English. Pasha is more introverted and prefers time indoors reading, writing, and learning.
Adelia Josephine Grace is a four year old British girl. She was recently diagnosed with ADHD but should have a followup in a fews years to make sure. She loves to dance and do anything and everything that keeps her active. She has always wanted dance classes and currently aspires to be a dancer.

Two years passed since the adoption of Grigori, Pasha, and Adelia, and life has never been better for Arisha and I. The three children have truly brightened our lives as never before.
Grigori is doing very well with us. He sometimes still experiences panic attacks, but is doing more and more better by the day. He loves the kite-flying trips we take every once in a while, and he frequently goes gardening with his mother. So much, in fact, that he soon gained the nickname of Green-fingers Grigori by his friends.
Pasha has also improved greatly, and has adapted to her new family. She had a hard time adapting to us at first, still occasionally fearing that the same will happen to Arisha as did to her mother. But now, she has become a beloved daughter and sister, and a very lovely one at that also. She has learned English very swiftly, her favourite book soon chosen - Alice in Wonderland.
Adelia is very happy living with us. She used to have some rough edges with Pasha, but learnt to control her hyperactivity. She loves Arisha so much and tails her round everywhere. Delia - so we called her - is taking ballet lessons, as well as learning from Arisha. She and her mother became very close through the years.
We can never express the joy you have brought into our lives - and for that, we thank you.

Well it's now been a year since we had the joy of adopting Luca and Eser into our family and it's just been marvelous.
Luca has my sons to look up to and they love him as much as he loves them. it is also a pretty funny scene when a fifteen year old boy beats two eighteen year olds at soccer. Luca has also helped erik improve his movie skills, luca is his biggest fan and critic, which is just lovable about the boy. his english has improved since his stay with us, and he has joined various clubs at the Catholic private school my husband and i sent him to. he is in many honor classes, and is to run for vice president of his school next schoolyear. Erik and I see a film director in the boy and we are prepared to help him reach that goal.
as for Eser, my husband and i decided to help her out with her studies and enlisted her in advanced classes, which we are happy to report that she's been passing with flying colors. we've already gotten to speaking about colleges she'd like to attend. she's already expressed her interest in becoming a social worker, and Erik and I are prepared to give her the best education to fulfill her full potential. As the only girl, besides me of course, she had a little trouble adjusting but slowly we became very close and she has become 'one of the boys', holding her own against Oliver and Hayden. She also enjoys having Monster for company, the behemoth of a dog took quickly to her, despite the fact that she was slightly afraid of him for a while in the beginning.

Akiva Isaac, Ronen Melek, and Zisel Naomi are one year old triplets from Israel. Their parents died in a house fire while the children were visiting relatives. All three are very healthy.

A year after adopting the triplets the Cohen family wrote a letter to the agency
Dear Bopperlynn’s Adoption Agency & Family of the Triplets,
After bringing the Akiva, Ronen, and Zisel home. We found out that those names were hard to pronounce. Avika was often told he had a girls name, Ronen was often mistaked for Rowen/Rowan, Roen, Rohan, Ronan, & even Roman, and Lexi couldn't even say Zisel and ended up calling her Zee-elle half the time and Giselle the other half. So we changed their names to Isaac, Binyamin, & Maayan (which in my eyes are easier to pronounce). At first they were afraid to sleep in their rooms because they were used to sleeping in the same room. My mother and father had come to visit so they helped us by sleeping with Maayan. I slept on the floor is Zacky's room, and Tony slept in Ben's. This lasted for about a month. Then my parents left. At that point only Maayan needed someone to comfort her. So her ema & aba (hebrew words for mom & dad) slept in the room with her for another week. After 3 months of having the triplets we took a vacation to EuroDisney in France (where we lived before moving to Florida). The reason for the trip was because we wanted to bond as a family and triplets had been taking well to French (compared to Spanish, Italian, and even English). My MIL & FIL flew in (to France) from Italy. The triplets were excited to meet Nana & Nonno. They already knew their Saba & Safta (my parents). We got 3 rooms in a nice hotel (2 king beds in each). In the first room was Nonno, Andrew, Binyamin, & Isaac. The next room was Nana, Sarah, Leah, & Lexi. In the last room Tony, Maayan, & I Slept (she's still clingy). The next day we set out towards disney. At first the triplets sat quietly, but as soon as we entered the park Maayan began to cry.

Miklos Nandor and Roman Sebestyen are brothers from Hungary. Miklos is seven and enjoys anything that can be done outdoors and loves to stay very active. His favorite thing to do is swim. He is very outgoing and amicable. Roman is 14 and Miklos' older brother. He is very protective of Miklos and sees it as his responsiblilty to make sure his brother is safe. Roman likes to be outdoors as well, but prefers to occupy himself with things such as logic puzzles and reading. He speaks a fair amount of English as well.
Mai-Linh Lawan is an eleven year old girl from Vietnam. She was born to a Vietnamese mother and a Thai father who already had more children than they could provide for. Mai-Linh likes to dance, draw, and write. Education is very important to her so she maintains excellent grades. She aspires to be a novelist someday.
