I like Robin as a nn for Robert. In fact, the possible nn Robin is one of the best parts about Robert.

Love, love, love for a boy

A sweet name but dignified enough without requiring Robert which I also like.

Given the bird/nature association I don't hate this on females (although I cannot stand the Robyn spelling) but I really enjoy this on males only.

Bleh. I have the feeling it's rather trashy. I have two (male) cousins called Robin but it never worked for me.

My best friend's name is Robyn (f) and I secretly prefer Robin for boys. It is a bit of a gp, but nothing I'd really want to use.

I like it, but I probably won't ever use it, sadly. My mom wanted to name my brother Christopher Robin, but my dad said absolutely not.

I like it a lot, but only as a nn for Robert. I like more formal given names, and Robin is a bit too informal as a given name for my taste. But I think it's very handsome, and I prefer it on a boy rather than a girl.

Robin is a boy name where I'm from. I like it and I think it's a sweet name but I can also imagine it on a very masculine man. It's definitely underrated.

I definitely prefer this for a boy. It's underused, which is too bad. I'm sick of Robert; Robin would be refreshing. Plus, the connection to Robin Hood is great :)
