I love it. My dd, Kate, has a friend named Charlotte and her family calls her Latte. I think it's cute.
Charlotte - Lottie or Charley? -- Lottie; prefer Charley / Charlie for a boy
Isabella - Izzy or Bella? -- Izzy
Matilda - Mattie or Tilly? -- I love Mattie.
Beatrix - Bea or Trixie? -- definitely Bea
Catherine - Cate or Cath? -- Cate
Eleanor - Ellie, Ella or Nora? -- Ellie but like them all
Emmeline - Emma or Emmy? -- It's funny, I don't like most of the formal names that Emmy can be derived from, but I love Emmy.
