I like it. It's underused and is more interesting than Simon. Out of the ones you have listed I like:Simeon August
Simeon Daniel
Simeon Henry
Simeon Isaac
Simeon James
Simeon Jude - This would be my favorite.

I like it, it's on my PNL. I much prefer it to Simon. Asa, August and Daniel are the mns that work best.

I am most fond of Simeon Tobias myself.

I dislike it. It makes me think "simian."

I don't know why, but I immediately think of monkeys when I hear the name. So weird. I also think of that character on MadTV named Simeon, which doesn't help. I much prefer Simon, but perhaps because in the area I'm in, Simon is not overly used at all, so it's still fresh and quaint in a British kind of way.Of your combos, I like:Simeon August
Simeon Edgar
Simeon Edmund
Simeon Jonas
Simeon Jude
Simeon Luke
Simeon Tobias

I wonder why names like Tiger and Lionel are considered cool in some circles (I have even met a guy named Cougar once), but suggesting monkeys isn't cool. I happen to like monkeys. The cannotation just isn't negative to me.

I didn't say monkeys aren't coolI just said it reminds me inexplicably of monkeys. Ain't nothin' wrong with monkeys.

It isn't really inexplicable. The word simian refers to monkeys and apes.

See, I think of malicious sentient lizards when I hear it; I read a Star Trek novel with a character like that named Simeon.

I prefer Simon.Although I enjoy monkeys, the name's propinquity to "simian" bothers me.

I love Simeon, actually a teeny bit better than Simon, but for some reason it doesn't receive the amount of love it deserves! I love all your combos, but Simeon August and Simeon Tobias stood out to me as really great.

Great name and as far as I'm concerned, any of those combos would be nice. My top 3 would be: Simeon Jude, Simeon Luke and Simeon James.

I like it, but I'd probably be more likely to use it as a mn.
