I came to the full realization while writing this that Andromeda and Sebastian are my two all-time favorite names. I am now removing Andromeda from my GP list and making it a real possibility. I would be insanely jealous if I met someone who had named her daughter Andromeda, and I hadn't. I would be very angry with myself for copping out and giving my daughter a more 'normal' name. And, I don't care how popular Sebastian gets, I still love it.

Clio Simone is one of the most chic, timeless, and gorgeous combos I've seen in a long time! Also loving Bryony Evelyn, Calliope Junia (mental note: ask DBF about Junia!), and wondering where you came up with Alaire. I like the way it looks and sounds, but could you tell me more about it?
For the boys -- I'm with you, Sebastian is awesome, popularity aside. Julian Amadeus is my favorite of your boy combos, mostly because I'm having a torrid love affair with Julian. XD

I first read the name Alaire in the book Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer. Alaire is a woman in the book (it's non-fiction) who undergoes some very traumatic experiences, but is described as being very beautiful. I've read that Alaire is a version of Hilary and, like Hilary, is considered a masculine name, though it's been adapted to be feminine.
