What do you think of Faith for a girl? Do you think it's too common? I know it has been near the bottom of the top 100 for quite a few years now. How common would that actually be? How big is the chance that there would be more than one Faith in a class at school?
How many do you know and how old are they? Do you know many who have it as a middle name?
Do you think the parents of a Faith would be religious? Can you suggest some combos?
Oh, by the way, have we already done the "Top Ten" thing for July?

I don't think Faith is too common. I actually don't know anyone with this name.
I do know a girl who has it for a middle name. She is called Amelia Faith and she is seven years old and very sweet.
I don't think the parents of a child named Faith would be religious. Faith does not have to mean religious faith, does it?
I like this name but I don't love it. I would maybe use it as a mn. I imagine someone called Faith to be quiet, dreamy and fair-haired.

I have never known a Faith. I have known several people with the middle name and they have all been religious. I wouldn't expect the parents of a Faith to be extremely religious, but I certainly wouldn't expect them to be atheists or agnostics.
Faith is overall a nice name, IMO! It's a fairly good balance between common & uncommon.

-I think Faith is actually one of the better sounding virtue names; "younger" than Grace or Prudence, and not as kooky as Modesty or Chastity.
-Where I live, it's not popular at all. I know of a few baby girls with the MIDDLE name being Faith, but never a first name. So I think Faith would probably be the only one in her class, at least 'round these parts.

Faith may be in the lower part of the Top 100, but if you were to aggregate names by spelling, Faith actually falls out of the Top 100 (according to namenerds.com) so I don't think it's all that common. Faith would probably be the only girl in her class with that name but if she isn't, oh well.
I suppose Faith is a religious name, but you can have Faith in anything so it doesn't *have* to be religious. I think it's a sweet and gentle name myself, as well as being a lovely concept.

I like it but I wouldn't use it. I know one person named Faith; I think she was born in 1990. Her middle name is Annette. I think the parents would have to be a bit religious, which is sort of why I wouldn't use it, since I'm not religious and I consider faith to be a vice rather than a virtue... I like it on other people's kids though.

I really really love Faith for a girl. The problem for me is that I'm an atheist so I can never use it myself (nor would I really want to, but it does sound nice). I don't think it is too common, and I don't think there is a big chance of there being another Faith in a class at school.

I would assume the parents of a Faith were religious. I think it is a weird name to use for your kid if you have no Faith yourself. I know for me, 'faith' as such is not really a virtue and I also wouldn't want people to assume that I or my child was religious. Plus, the kid of non-religious parents is likely to grow up non-religious themselves and being non-religious and named Faith would pretty ironic.
