On the night of our one year anniversary, I got an email at my office from Jack. It was a set of coordinates that I was supposed to go to. I was a little confused, but I borrowed my coworkers GPS and typed them in, then set off into the city. I ended up being lead to the park, right in the middle of the woods, where there is a little secret meadow. There was Jack, waiting in nice clothes, down on one knee. He told me how much he loved me and then got out the ring. I started crying right then and there and said yes. Then, I jumped in his arms.
We held our wedding in the same spot in the park and had the reception at our favorite restaurant. Our theme was classically simple, and it was the most beautiful wedding I could have ever imagined. Everything was just so perfect and special, I felt like a princess the entire time. I loved my husband and I am just so happy! It was my dream wedding, right down to the groom.
Our honeymoon was in Ireland, my dream location. It was very romantic and fun. We did a lot of dancing and sleeping in late and fine dining, our three favorite things.
The day before the wedding, my sister Sophia got in a huge fight with her husband, Peter. They were our maid of honor and best man and they weren't even speaking! I tried to ignore it, as they have fights an awful lot, but, at around 2 in the morning on my wedding day, I woke up to see my sister, packing her bags to fly home (they live in the city). I got my mother and best friend Carrie in the room and we ended up staying up until five in the morning talking my sister out of leaving. Then, she went and woke up Peter and told him she was sorry. After that, I got another hour of sleep and was very tired during our wedding day, but I still had a magical time and was glad our wedding party was still in order!
