I love the nn Emmie, but see no reason why you can't use more than one nn, call her both Em and Emmie. And Emma too- yes, wiht your pronounciation it works fine as a nn.

I think it would be fine to use Emma as a nickname for Emmeline.

I've a character named Emmeline and pronounced the same as yours; she usually goes by Em or Emmy. Emma works, but I wouldn't use it simply because it's such a popular name on its own - if you're going to use a more unusual name, why call her the same as six other girls in her class?

I love Emmeline. I wouldn't pronounce it that way, but I do tend to pronounce Emmaline that way.

With the "line" pronunciation, I think it really does just leave Emme/Emma, Em, and Emmie as nns. Otherwise there could be Lina.

Emma perhaps. Maybe something thats not usually used like Emmy/Emmie.
Emma is one of those names that you use the name as a name,not a nickname, or don't use it at all. Something less popular may be in order. If you get what i mean. Here are some ideas:

Emmie/Emmy was perhaps my favorite name when I was 6.
Emma might work, but I don't really like it, and I'd much rather just use Emmeline.

Emma works fine, but there are sooooo many Emmas these days. I'd use the nn Em.

Emma would definitely work. Especially if you pronounce it Emma-line. I love Emma.
